Steven Reynolds, Graduate Student

Steven Reynolds is a second-year graduate student in the SyRRA Lab pursuing his master’s in System Engineering with a focus in Reliability Engineering. He graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2015 with a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering before completing tours aboard USCGC SPENCER as a student engineer and at the Coast Guard’s Patrol Boat Product Line as an Asset Management Section Chief. His research focuses on integration of probabilistic risk assessment into governmental life cycle models, particularly existing naval assets.
